Hello everyone! My name is Yulia and I am a qualified English Language instructor.

My teaching experience ranges from tutoring middle and high school students to teaching adults of various ages and proficiencies online. In 2022, I earned a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. At Teachers College, I have had a privilege to teach international students from all over the world, including such countries as China, Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan and Spain.

I believe that language teaching should be interactive, engaging and relevant. Adopting a communicative language teaching (CLT) approach with a focus on interaction and language production is a great way to achieve these goals.

In my free time, I love going to art museums, traveling, hiking and learning foreign languages. I’m currently learning Spanish and a little bit of Greek.
